New Allianz

Behavioral Economics Consultant 80-100% (m/w/d)

  • Zürich, SWITZERLAND

Job description

The Global Centre for Behavioral Economics is a consulting boutique within Allianz. We believe that organizations thrive when they deeply understand human behavior and decision-making. We solve complex, real-world business challenges for Allianz and external clients by blending psychology, economics, strategy, and consulting expertise. Based in Switzerland, we are a small but growing, English-speaking startup with ambitious goals. We are looking for individuals passionate about behavioral science who want to make a tangible difference.

What you will do

·  You Discover: Conduct behavioral audits to uncover the drivers of human behavior. Use diverse tools like journey mapping, literature research, and stakeholder analysis to reveal actionable insights.
·  You Strategize: Design evidence-based behavioral strategies that drive measurable change. Turn insights into actionable plans, prioritizing high-impact areas, and inspire your clients to bring them to life.
·  You Create: Develop innovative, ready-to-implement solutions by leading workshops, collaborating with stakeholders, and redesigning experiences.
·  You Test & Scale: Pilot your ideas and analyze the results, refine them using real-world data, and help roll them out to create lasting impact.
·  You Grow with Us: Play an active role in shaping our startup's future - whether it’s through business development, refining our processes, or introducing groundbreaking ideas.

What you bring with you

·  Behavioral Economics Expertise: You have a strong grasp of key concepts and can independently apply them to generate / validate insights, design or test solutions using tools like field experiments. A related degree (Master’s preferred) and hands-on experience demonstrate your skills.
·  Consulting Savvy: You’re skilled at organizing projects, breaking down problems, structuring solutions, and delivering results. Building strong client relationships is easy for you. Typically, you bring 2+ years of client-facing consulting experience.
·  Drive and Resilience: You overcome adversity and are proactive, solution-oriented, and hungry to make a difference.
·  Languages: Fluency in English is essential. German, French, or other European languages are a plus.
·  Bonus: Experience in applying machine learning (e.g., Random Forests, K-Means), AI, or behavioral data science.

Why you should work with us

·  Solve Diverse, Meaningful Challenges: Your work will tackle the behavioral roots of issues like customer retention, employee health, or leadership decision-making.
·  Blend Science and Impact: Use your behavioral science expertise to deliver tangible, real-world results. Pilot your ideas, witness your work come to life, and see the measurable value.
·  Freedom to Innovate: We focus on outcomes, not micromanagement. Your initiative and entrepreneurial spirit will be rewarded with opportunities. Take ownership of projects and grow with us.
·  Be Part of a Kind, Brilliant Team: Work alongside smart, driven colleagues in a collaborative and supportive culture that you can shape."
