Who will you join?
GA is the department within AZ SE in charge of governance for Actuarial Key Function, sufficiency of reserves and contributing to the actuarial aspects in performance & steering of the Group. It leads or actively contribute to a number of Group dialogue and is interacting with top management and OEs to ensure proper Actuarial Key Function and correct, efficient reserving and sufficient reserves.
How can you make an impact?
You will:
- Prepare actuarial reserve reviews for our entities around the globe and feedback results to our top management to drive informed decision making
- Perform deep-dives in actuarial data analytics, identify new trends and uncover valuable insights
- Simplify and automate actuarial processes for reserving and reporting purposes, using the latest available software suite, to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Strengthen capabilities within the Actuarial Community with respect to new technologies
- Engage with relevant stakeholders in the headquarter and the entities to provide strategic and financial recommendations that influence key business outcomes
- Enhance the Actuarial Function governance, ensure best practice and promote this across our entities
What are you made of?
Minimum Qualifications:
- Actuarial expertise (3+ years) in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance, preferably in reserving
- Qualified actuary or partially qualified actuary with good track record, and member of a renowned Actuarial association
- Exceptional analytical skills and a solid technical background in P&C insurance
- Proven ability to interact effectively with senior management
- Data analytics skills
- Experience in Python programming
Preferred Qualifications:
- University degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or similar quantitative field.
- Previous experience in business related functions (e.g. Claims or Underwriting) is a plus
