Job description

We are looking for a Regulatory Reporting Analyst, who will be based in our Chicago office.

The Impact You Will Have    
In this role, you will support our regulatory and financial reporting activities by working with business partners and financial data. You will help ensure the company meets reporting requirements set by states and regulatory agencies. This position is well suited for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys working with data, and wants to develop skills in data mining and insurance regulatory reporting. You will have the opportunity to read and interpret regulatory guidelines and contribute to ongoing process improvements.

Some of your specific responsibilities could include: 
•    Preparing and completing assigned reports (Datacalls) with various agencies and states.
•    Read, interpret, and apply reporting requirements from states and regulatory agencies
•    Complete surcharge reporting and process related payments across legal entities
•    Manage and process state assessments for assigned jurisdictions
•    Monitor and evaluate regulatory updates to ensure ongoing compliance
•    Identify and implement opportunities to streamline reporting processes and reduce manual work
•    Maintain accurate and high quality data to meet regulatory and internal reporting standards
•    Produce data pulls, reports, and research for internal departments
•    Communicate with auditors, state agencies, and external partners regarding reporting inquiries
                                                                    
What You’ll Bring to the Role

•    Bachelor’s or equivalent experience in business, finance, mathematics or a related field
•    2-5 years experience in working with data, insurance, and financial reporting
•    Experience or strong interest in insurance regulatory reporting
•    Ability to read and interpret state and agency reporting instructions
•    Interest in developing data mining skills and learning new reporting tools
•    Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with SQL, SAS, or similar tools is a plus
•    Ability to identify and resolve data or reporting discrepancies
•    Curiosity, attention to detail, and a collaborative, growth oriented mindset

The annualized base pay range for this role is $70545 - $106527. The annual base salary range represents a nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AzC total compensation package.  As part of our comprehensive compensation and highly rated benefits programs, employees are also eligible for annual performance-based cash incentive awards.
