We are looking for an Account Technician, based in Rotterdam.
Your Team
We are committed to deliver state of the art end to end customer service, starting by capturing and processing policy information, from submissions through to billing and collection. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer support and operational effectiveness for our clients.
The Impact You Will Have
Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager UK, Benelux and Nordics and working alongside experienced Operations colleagues, you will offer a streamlined and efficient service in managing administrative tasks for underwriting, accounts, claims, credit control, and broker/client relations. You will also handle system and process updates as Allianz Commercial works to harmonize its operations, ensuring smooth transitions and accurate implementation of changes.
Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

Manage accounts of low to medium complexity, reviewing source underwriting materials for completeness and escalating missing information to Underwriting (UW) as needed.

Oversee global implementation of IIPs, providing instructions to SOEs, reconciling issues, and addressing cover and wording queries with UW.

Authorize transactions in line with assigned limits.
·
Accurately input new and renewed business into IT systems and produce invoices, policies, certificates, and endorsements for brokers, clients, and co-insurers.

Chase and reconcile premiums, collaborating closely with Credit Control and liaising with brokers/Underwriters to ensure timely payment.
·
Manage daily, weekly, and monthly workflows to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and adhere to risk management and compliance procedures.
·
Build effective relationships with internal/external customers and support UAT and ad-hoc tasks as required.
What You’ll Bring to the Role
With a first experience working in an insurance administration role, you are at ease with corporate insurance products, wordings, terms, conditions, and coverages and familiar with the policy administration life cycle. This role is a great opportunity for you to expand your international exposure and learn about a range of Lines of Business in the Corporate and Speciality sector.

You are proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant business applications/systems

Keen and able to develop your technical and systems knowledge, and understanding of business and insurance
·
You bring strong communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal)
·
Fluent in Dutch and English
·
Effective task planning and time management, with experience in scheduling and prioritizing tasks
·
Positive proactive attitude with strong team spirit
·
Ideally, you have experience in working in an international, corporate setting where management works from abroad.
