Job description
A to Z Autoparts are a leading parts and garage equipment supplier for cars and light commercial vehicles to independent garages in the Berkshire area.
A to Z Autoparts are owned by the Alliance Automotive Group who are a European leader within the Automotive Aftermarket industry.
As the Business Development Manager you are specifically accountable for delivering sales and margin growth for your customer base. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships within their targeted territory.
Required skills:
- Able to develop sales strategies and tactics within your required territory
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with Branch, Regional and Senior Management.
- Able to build strong relationships with suppliers, field based trainers and product managers.
- Able to effectively analyse business intelligence software
- Commercial awareness and strong awareness of competitor activity and market conditions.
- Able to influence the branch management and sales team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong training and presentation skills.
- Able to work under pressure and deliver on deadline
Personal Specification:
- A customer focused approach with excellent selling skills is essential, combined with the ability to communicate to all customer groups building strong relationships across the region.
- Should be a smart, dynamic and performance oriented individual with strong negotiation and selling skills
- Extensive experience with customer account management
- A track record in delivering sales and margin growth within a business to business environment.
- Experience at finding and developing new business
