Salary £20,000 to £35,000 per annum dependant on experience

Alert Logic, in partnership with IntaPeople, have gone from strength to strength in 2015, and are now actively looking to recruit and grow their Security Operations Centre teams early in 2016. The right candidates will be joining a market leading organisation and will have the opportunity to develop their skills and advance a career within IT Security. To be successful in the position, as well as the right technical skills, the Security Analysts will need to have a deep interest in IT Security, love problem solving, and be passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.

Working in a modern and highly technical environment, the team of Security Analysts monitor the networks of clients and notify them of any threats or potential issues using intrusion detection systems and traffic analysis. The Security Analysts will then work with the client and the internal technical teams in order to resolve the issue and protect the clients' networks. For every cyber attack that we hear about in the news, there are thousands more than are prevented by the work of security analysts!

Technically, the Security Analysts will have experience of;
• Linux systems
• Network Monitoring
• TCP/IP
• Penetration Testing
• Packet analysis tools such as Snort

As well as experienced professionals, our client is very keen to speak to graduates or those with a real interest in developing their career in IT Security. A real career path is available for those with the right attitude and desire to learn. You must be willing to work in a shift pattern which covers the core UK hours from 5am - 10pm, and a shift allowance is available to support the more unsociable hours, and a willingness to work weekends is essential.

The salary on offer is up to £35,000 per annum plus benefits including pension, life assurance, 25 days holiday, private medical, and shift allowance.
