A role in the National Supply Chain Forecasting Team is a great opportunity to play a key part in shaping the future department and its ways of working. You will gain valuable experience working on a global transformation project and become a real expert at the end of it. You will form relationships with GB/IE colleagues across all domains and also across the Aldi global network of countries.
You will be instrumental in the use of the new forecasting system, responsible for forecasting a category of products, working closely with other teams with NSCM, National Buying, NIT and Store Operations. As the department and the AHEAD program evolves, so will the role. As such you will require a proactive approach and a high level of multi-tasking and resilience. You will also potentially be responsible for Legacy forecasting systems and interacting with Store Operations and National Buying colleagues on these systems.
The role would require someone confident working with data, analysing trends and making recommendations. Someone who has experience in using the forecasting within SAP in order to maximise the system is advantageous, as is experience of Aldi Store Operations or National Buying. A confident individual with great communication skills would also be ideally suited to this opportunity.
Your New Role
Subject matter expertise
· Data analysis
· Forecasting several SCGs of products
· Ability to create business reports
· Ability to identify gaps in the new processes and define new ones as required
· Create PowerPoint presentations to illustrate processes
Business Readiness
· Process testing
Other responsibilities:
· Ensures deadlines are complied with in area of responsibility
· Identifies and communicates project information necessary for senior management decision making
About You
· Previous experience in SAP forecasting and replenishment solutions
· Experience in store operations or buying experience
· Experience of working within a project
· Experience of managing change whilst Business As Usual (BAU) is ongoing
· Strong communication and organisational skills

· Ability to proactively work towards challenging deadlines through multitasking and resilience

· Salary starting £36,625 rising to £42,270
· Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with the opportunity of 2 day a week remote working
