Your New Role
Your key responsibilities will include:
· Sales and cash accounting
· Regional banking, including reconciliation of bank statements, processing of payments, and ensuring all entries have the correct supporting documentation
· Controlling and processes accounts for Regional Real Estate, including control of business rates, rent payments, tenant income, service charge payable and income
· Accounts for Regional Payroll and liaises with Regional the Payroll Team
· Prepares monthly corporation tax data
· Controls prepayments
· Liaises with Regional Store Operations, Real Estate and Logistics to process month end accruals
· Produces month end reconciliations and variance analysis
· Monitors shared inboxes
· Carries out Year End procedures following specified guidelines
· Prepares Year End appendices and information for Auditors
· Relevant ad-hoc tasks and projects
About You
· Experience of working with financial systems (SAP preferred)
· Relevant accounts experience including account reconciliations and double entry postings
· High attention to detail with the ability to input data quickly
· Able to work under pressure, multitask and prioritise workload
· Self-motivated and works effectively with minimal supervision
· Works in a structured, methodical manner
· Takes personal responsibility for resolving queries and issues
· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
· Clear communicator (both orally and written)
· Team player
· AAT Level 4 or equivalent considered advantageous

· Salary starting £36,625 rising to £42,270 (fixed term contract until 31st December 2025)
· Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with the opportunity of 2 day a week remote working
