Quality Control Technician

Job description
Inspection and testing of Raw Materials used and Finished Goods at the Houston Plant.
· Participate and contribute in Health & Safety, Security and Environmental activities (SAFE Meetings, BBS Observer, HS&E Training, Housekeeping, 5S, Recycling, Waste Management, et.)
· Finished Goods and Raw Material Inspection and Testing
· Lab Support (Re-stocking of supplies, equipment calibration, recording of results, KPIs, etc.)
· Complaint Investigation
· Product Recertification
· Other duties as assigned
Desired profile
· High school diploma or GED required.
· Associates degree preferred.
· Minimum two (2) years of experience in coating factory or R&D environment
· ISO 9001:2008 preferred
· Laboratory testing skills
· Computer data entry skills
· Problem solving and analysis skills
