Job description

Coordinate the reporting and controlling of Manufacturing, Warehousing and Distribution costs, investigating addressing deviations and implementing corrective actions for the following, but not limited to:
Oversee the standard cost system including review of material, labor and overhead variances, preparing cost quotations, updating standards and assisting in reporting of monthly results.

Review production and material variances and provide recommendations for areas of improvement to management.
Review raw material trends and update standards as proscribed.
Calculate and update overhead absorption rates and track to actual spend.
Analyze expense activity for the site

Responsible for the financial input into the budgeting and S&OP forecasting process, and to ensure reconciliation to MIAC reporting figures.

Responsible for monitoring inventory levels and inventory reduction and OWC initiatives.

Drive the process of ICD pricing across MCNA, monitoring observation of ICD policies and I/C reconciliation.

Responsible for the financial aspects, evaluation, submission, and evolution of the region's CapEx expenditures and financial aspects of project executions.

Ad hoc analysis as required by regional controller / site manager

Desired profile

Knowledge

· Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
· Direct experience & successful track record in cost accounting – minimum 5 years
· Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
