Within VR the Regional Digital Color Support Champion is part of the Color Marketing department. Color lines are very important to SMU VR for the success of the business. This role focuses on the following business topics:
Digitization of color for our customers
Automatchic instrument and software
Customer Software for color search, formula retrieval and mixing,
Dealing with regional Vehicle Refinish markets

Key Objectives/Principal Accountabilities

· As regional expert, supports the countries on all Digital Color topics
· Leads and coordinates implementation and roll out of new digital color tools (customer software, Automatchic etc).
· Provides information to the region on release and roll-out of new color tools required in preparation of annual budgets in allocated countries.
· Monitors appropriate budgeting.
· Leads and coordinates updates of software, firmware and customer color data in the region
· Supports sales & implementation of Digital Color at regional key accounts (a.o. Distribution partners)
· Is the 3rd level customer support for customer problems on digital color
· Collects market feedback from the region, consolidates and analyses the information, identifies action for improvements and reports findings into the Global Color Marketing organization.
· Discusses and aligns market requirements within VR color marketing team.
· Participates as regional representative in global color projects and activities.
· Trains country Local Color Support Experts and supports training to local technicians and customers on the use of new color tools.
· Coordinates regional hardware needs and licenses for color software.
· Registers and reports the results of internal support obtained in daily work.
· Coordinates demand- and production planning for color tools for the region.
· Maintains and updates technical aspects of websites.
· Gets familiar with all the applicable corporate as well as site policies/procedures with regard to personal conduct/HS&E standards and acts in compliance with all their regulations.

Functional Responsibilities/Network

· Contributes to the execution of sales -, expense - and profitability targets established for the region by supporting in development, implementation and maintenance of color tools for the regional VR market.

Desired profile

·  Bachelor's degree Commercial/ Technical
3-5 years working experience (Preferably in a function in the field of customer support or technical support Preferably some experience working in projects and ideally have some experience in color related subjects)
Fluent English
Very good skills of MS office, Color Software
Knowledge on IT systems like CRM, SQL in relation to Color Software
Hands on and customer focused
Quickly understands the customer need
Team player
