Application Manager Treasury

The role and its responsibilities

Working from our Shared Service Center in Arnhem, the Netherlands, you perform a wide variety of daily activities ranging from trouble shooting to applying your vision to long-term project development and management.

Incident & Problem Management

You keep systems up and running by applying a controlled process of registering, monitoring and resolving of application-related tickets. Further, you monitor the performance of systems and maintaining applications according to agreed SLAs and regional needs.

You are responsible for the integrity of the Production Environment, and you ensure IM process compliance and a high level of stability by determining the root cause of incidents and problems.

Change Management

You advise and consult the Solution Architects regarding change requests and analyze impacts and risks before applying changes. You also execute changes/enhancements from initiation through to implementation.

Knowledge Management & Training

You assess the capability of key users and increase their knowledge and skills via training. In addition you ensure the proper documentation of modules (Technical, Process, End-User, Training).

Application Advisory

You proactively support business process improvements and the key-user organization with advice on new business processes. You define the alignment of these business processes with solutions in the business systems.

Functional Application Management

You monitor the functional usage of SAP applications, identify the activities that have the largest impact on system performance, and identify possible improvements.

Further, you maximize the performance of current hardware and define the archiving parameters based upon a balance between business requirements and technical limitations.

Project Support

You gather information, perform analysis and present findings to project stakeholders for interpretation and decision making. You translate business requirements into system and functional specifications.

You support project handover activities and work with the Solution Architect to identify and analyze business needs, stakeholders required and linkages to other relevant projects.

Desired profile

To apply for this position you must be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

• Bachelor's degree or comparable level and, preferably, SAP-certified Application Associate/Professional

;• Ideally you have at least three years of experience with FI within a Treasury context. Alternatively, you have experience in Fico SAP and the desire and ability to learn about Treasury

;• Familiar with IT Service Management (ITIL or CoBIT) practices

;• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to advise, influence and negotiate

;• Customer-focused team player who can take ownership and deliver on commitments

;• Fluent written and spoken English and willing to travel.
