Job description

We are the aircraft component support and supply arm of ST Aerospace global support network. Located in Stansted Airport, UK, our component solution incorporates efficient repair with effective re-supply of components, supported by a robust engineering and logistics foundation.

We are looking for a dynamic and result oriented Engineer to drive, develop and improve our engineering processes. If you have the drive to make things happen, and have the desire to make a difference, we would like to hear from you.

The Role:
• Lead component standards development in consultation with customers, OEMs/suppliers and
regulatory agencies.
• Support the development of customer work scope in the RFQ/RFP and sales process.
• Implement new customer contracts in collaboration with Programme Department.
• Maintain customer contracted work scope (including support list) as part of contract
maintenance.
• Lead / Participate in engineering and other technical discussions, serve as the primary
engineering
liaison internally and with customers, OEMs/suppliers and regulatory agencies.
• Evaluate workshop reports; provide technical support internally to other departments, customers
and OEMs/suppliers.
• Lead component improvement, modification and reliability responsibility, including preparing
reliability and engineering reports in accordance with contractual and OWLSTM system
requirements.
• Maintain/update technical records and ERP data for engineering.
• Establish engineering guideline and policy, review and implement changes to existing processes.

Desired profile

The candidate must have excellent inter-personal skills and possess good knowledge of how an organisation can improve its processes to optimise performance.

The candidate must have at least a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar education. Knowledge within the airline or MRO industry is desirable.

Proficiency in computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint is a must.
