AIRBUS offers an internship (curricular practicum) program aimed at students who are in the last year of their degree with the main objective of acquiring professional skills through the development of a project in the company.
What do we offer? : Internship (curricular practicum) program + Bachelor’s Degree Final Project (TFG).
Mission: You will prepare a final year training project that will allow you to complete your official studies.
About practical training:

6 months of curricular practicum at AIRBUS from February to July 2026
·
Part time: 5h / day - 25 hours per week (8h-13h)

Tutor assignment for continuous monitoring
Final project (TFG) to be carried out by the student:
Airbus Illescas East Bay Industrial Maintenance:
The internship is part of the engineering area of the maintenance department. The maintenance department of the East Bay at the Airbus Illescas plant is generally responsible for ensuring the availability and proper operation of all automated production systems comprising the manufacturing lines for the basic carbon components: A320 HTP, A330 HTP, A350 fuselage S19, and Eurofighter wing skins.
It comprises more than 30 main assets, including various technologies, including: carbon taping, N2 autoclave curing, machining, ultrasonic inspection, and dimensional inspection, among others.
The department is structured into two main areas: Engineering and Technical Team.
Tasks to be completed by the student to complete the Final Project:
Analysis of machine performance data and some of their key parameters, and development and implementation of automated maintenance on the most critical machines.
The following deliverables are contemplated for the Final Project:
· Deployment and monitoring of the improvement plan
· Analysis of objectives set vs. achieved
Knowledge the student will acquire:
General knowledge of Siemens numerical controls
Machine failure mode analysis
Maintenance KPI analysis
Pareto-based decision-making

As a successful candidate, you must demonstrate the following skills and experience:
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronics Industrial Engineering
English: minimum level B2 (preferably C1)
Spanish: minimum level B1
General knowledge of the Google Suite environment. SAP.
Valued skills: Python programming
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Team spirit and strong collaboration skills
Ability to work in an international environment
