Job Description:
A VIE for the Technical DATA department has arisen within Airbus Commercial in Getafe, Spain.
Airbus Customer Services Technical DATA department, delivers and supports aircraft maintenance documentation directly used by the customers (airlines, MRO, lessors). It enables the safe and efficient accomplishment of maintenance operations all along its life cycle, in accordance with airworthiness requirements and regulations (ICA).
Technical DATA is organised in 3 Production Domains including the System domain, which is a large transnational (FR, GE, SP, UK, IN) organisation with Production (Authoring) and Operations lines.
You will join the Technical Data Systems Domain to support the authoring and the operations lines, in several activities.
TASKS and RESPONSIBILITIES
Authoring support

Support the Production activities
·
Support the AOS (Airbus Operating System) model for continuous improvement activities in Customer Services
Operations support
·
IPC (Illustrated Part Catalog) manual transversal support
Note.- The Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) is a certified manual which provides information for the replacement of parts for maintenance on aircraft. The IPC is produced to be able to identify the part numbers which are in need of replacement; it is used by various entities, first for the mechanics, but also for procurement.

Support the IPC discrepancies management within SID and especially in SIDY: KPI creation, process improvement, root causes analysis to support the improvement of the data injection in our tools, support and improvement of the governance.

Support on the initiatives to enhance the IPC (Illustrated Part Catalog) manual by root cause analysis, mapping of existing solutions, proposals for TO BE process.

Automation & Modernization
·
Identify improvements concerning the performance reporting and data control
·
Develop and maintain the new ecosystem of required deliverables in an automated way by using the existing technologies ( automation, data analysis and visualization )
·
Identify other rooms of automation in the activities developed by the Business Operations System Team and potentially develop them
·
Identification and implementation of potential collaborations and synergies within the different Technical Data departments
SKILLS

Education: Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline
·
Experience: Entry level
·
Languages: Advanced level in English
·
Knowledge of Process definition Methodologies, Project Management methodologies and Continuous Improvement methodologies

Valuable / Nice to have: digital solutions knowledge, innovation, Customer Services experience or knowledge
