You will form part of the Airbus Engineering Cabin & Cargo team & Programme department for 2 years, and have the opportunity to work with internal customers, exciting projects and liaising with different levels of Airbus management.

Definition VIE
The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. We are looking for highly motivated graduates aged 18 to 28 years, who are citizens of the European Union (all E.U. nationals, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). Your location
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.

Your tasks and responsibilities
·
Lead and deliver SA customization related projects to time, cost and quality
·
Identify, assess and mitigate risks & opportunities and define and steer mitigation actions accordingly
·
Support and track continuous cross-functional improvement projects and initiatives
·
Contribute to the modernisation and digitalisation of the fleet management and SA Customization business
·
Act as overall SA program related entry point to Cabin and Cargo Engineering to foster collaboration and manage internal customer requests
·
Actively participate in team life, sharing best practises, animate and contribute to team workshops while leading by example
·
Prepare and support SA Customization Airbus Operational Plan (AOP)
Desired skills and qualifications
·
Project Management and/or Engineering experience
·
Preferably holds a Projects and Program Management (PMP) qualification or other recognized PMI (Project Management Institute) qualification (or equivalent).
·
Previous experience within a relevant industry (Aerospace, Automotive, etc.)
·
Have a background within Aerospace
·
Negotiation level of English, written and verbal
·
German & French is a plus.
·
Excellent leadership qualities
·
Good influencing and negotiating skills.
·
A willingness to travel, should the opportunity arise
