Job Description:

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria.
VIE Main Requirements:

·  European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old
·  Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any

A VIE within our department "Sales & Program Delivery Germany" has arisen within Airbus Secure Land Communications GmbH in Ulm .

The university town Ulm is beautifully located at the river Danube between Munich (155km away) and Stuttgart (90km away) and offers a wide range of leisure and cultural activities. Here you can enjoy the quality of life under the highest church tower in the world and become part of a city that preserves its historical sights and shapes the future along the Danube at the same time.

The contract duration of VIE is 12 months with starting date from April 2026 .

Tasks & accountabilities:

In support of the Head of Sales & Program Delivery Germany and the management team, you will help shape the company strategy by:

·  Performing market research & benchmark analyses on industry trends
·  Understanding the existing product portfolio and our ways of working and comparing them with the market trends
·  Collaborating and exchanging with other departments on best pracitces and experiences, also in other countries
·  Preparing and presenting the gathered information in a condensed way in various forums

Required Skills:

·  Graduated in Information Technology / Engineering, Economics or a comparable field of study
·  First experience in Business Development or Strategy is an advantage
·  Strong affinity to complex technologies and Systems Thinking

In addition you are capable to demonstrate the following skills:

·  You bring along analytical skills and have a knack for condensing information to the essentials
·  You have a business-oriented mindset, looking for the bigger economic, technological and geopolitical picture
·  You’re an open-minded teamplayer with a proactive personality that helps you to drive change, solve problems and convince others
·  You are able to easily negotiate in English, an advanced level in German is a plus
