You will join the department in charge of providing PMO services to Chief engineer organizations.The engineering PMO supports project managers, contract managers, and chief engineers in managing projects and contracts in terms of time, costs, workload, risks, and opportunities.
Definition VIE
The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. We are looking for highly motivated graduates aged 18 to 28 years, who are citizens of the European Union (all E.U. nationals, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). Your location
At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Your tasks and responsibilities
You will contribute to the following main activities:
·
Monitor and control the project execution regarding schedule, costs, risks and opportunities and track project progress
·
Manage the entire development project lifecycle: scoping, work package management, change management, project closure
·
Animate regular contribution to company finance exercises like Sales & Operational
·
Plan, financial forecasts and Cost at/to Completion
·
Prepare risk status for ERM
·
Manage chief engineering contribution to enterprise risk management and engineering resource/ workload management
Desired skills and qualifications
You have the following skills and experience:
·
Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Engineering and Business management or a related discipline.
·
IT tools: MS Office, Google suite and scheduling tool (e.g. MS Project)
·
Team player with good communication skills
·
Autonomous, precise, reliable and solution-oriented attitude
·
Proactive and able to identify and realize improvements
·
Language Skills: English: fluent, French: fluent, German could be an advantage
