Description of the job

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria.

VIE Main Requirements:
- European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old.
- Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any.
- Fluent in English.

A VIE position as human resources support has arisen within SATAIR in Ashburn, Virginia, United States.

This 18 month’s duration contract will start on the 1st of May at the earliest.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your missions and activities will include:

• Develop and optimize processes for onboarding new candidates
• Identify process bottlenecks and find a way to resolve them for recruiting and employee relations
• Recommend changes or upgrades to improve process efficiency
• Support project such as AAP reporting, compensations and benefits analysis and performance review process

This role will involve some travel for business in the US and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.

Required skills

You have the following skills and experience:

• Educated between a 3 and 5 year’s degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources

• Good skills in Microsoft Office (you master the use of Word, Excel, Powerpoint; the knowledge of Visio would be a plus)
• You have skills in managing candidate tracking

• Knowledge of SAP / ERM tool is a nice to have

• Soft skills: very good communication skills, problem solver, empathic, autonomous

• Languages
o Negotiation level of English
o German would be a plus
