VIE 2026 - Germany within Planning Activities & Support A320 Customer Line H/F (d/f/m)

Definition VIE

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. We are looking for highly motivated graduates aged 18 to 28 years, who are citizens of the European Union (all E.U. nationals, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). A VIE for “Planning Activities & Support A320 Customer Line” has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Hamburg. In the A320 Family Customer Line Hamburg we are looking for a VIE who shall support us to improve our regular Master Production Scheduling (MPS) routines.

Your location

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities

· 
Review and improve the current Master Production Scheduling (MPS) governance of theA320 Family Customer Line Hamburg.

· 
Align the adaptations with all involved stakeholders from production and supporting functions to secure proper execution.

· 
Create and maintain a robust agenda supported by a structure of KPIs to be reviewed on a regular basis.

· 
Set-up and manage an action report to support the execution of improvements.

· 
Prepare a transition into serial mode of the revised MPS governance.

Desired skills and qualifications

· 
University degree in Industrial Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Business Administration or a related discipline. 

· 
First experience in project management 

· 
Data analytical skills incl. creation of KPIs

· 
Operational and planning knowledge

· 
Open and objective driven mindset

· 
Team oriented

· 
Willingness in dealing with various stakeholders (partly across hierarchical levels)

· 
Negotiation level English is necessary, advanced knowledge of German is an asset
