VIE - Configuration Management "Digital" (d/f/m)
You are a highly motivated graduate and want to get to know the Configuration Management Team as a Volunteer for International Experience.

Definition VIE
The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. We are looking for highly motivated graduates aged 18 to 28 years, who are citizens of the European Union (all E.U. nationals, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). Your location
At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Your tasks and responsibilities
·
Define and run AI & Smart Automation projects/activities (data engineering, chat bot, checks, Robotic Process Automation, AI mindset)
·
Support Lean initiatives and continuous improvement
·
Be capable of designing, developing and implementing innovative solutions
·
Support to harmonizing / simplification of the configuration management processes between different Helicopter Programs
·
Support of the operational team on configuration management topics
·
Data preparation for Key Performance Indicators reviews
·
Lead or contribute to other configuration improvement projects
·
Continuously monitor and support progress of the configuration management domain in our Company Excellence System (CES) - process documentation
·
Creation of training material, communication kits and presentations
·
Support to organize events such as Configuration Management Day
Desired skills and qualifications
·
You have a degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or a comparable field of study
·
You have strong appetite in "digital" (data, automation, RPA, chat bots, AI..)
·
You have good knowledge of Google Suite
·
You like data analysis
·
You have a creative and Innovative way of thinking
·
You have a strong team spirit
·
Basic knowledge in configuration management and project management would be a plus
·
English at a negotiation level
·
German is a real plus
