About System Integration & Control Engineer (m/f/d)

Testia's Large-Scale Vision Inspection Team in Ottobrunn, develops solutions for automated quality inspection of aircraft components during manufacturing. Our multidisciplinary team groups different competence fields from software, mechanical, and electrical engineering.
Our challenge is to generalize sensor solutions, especially machine vision systems, for highly variable component geometries, surface qualities and materials.

Your Tasks

· 
Integrate different end effectors into motion systems (robots, gantry machines, etc.), including mechanics, electronics, cabling, and control

· 
Define test criteria and develop test environments for motion systems

· 
Extend, maintain, and configure our test rigs and create robot motion programs

· 
Troubleshoot motion systems in case of malfunction/faults/errors

· 
Install automation and motion systems, considering their integration with customers’ equipment

What we look for

· 
Bachelor or master in robotics, mechatronics, automation, or a comparable field of study

· 
Experience in industrial motion systems, robots, and their programming

· 
Experience in Programmable Logic Controller system design and programming; experience in industrial networks, buses, and communication protocols

· 
High sense of responsibility

· 
Fluency in English and/or German 

· 
Outstanding team capability, communication, documentation, and presentation abilities

· 
Solution-oriented thinking and willingness to be part of new projects which are not state of the art
