Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Tester for the eletrical platform of the future (f/m) to join our Electrical Systems and ElectroMagnetic Compatibility Tests based in Toulouse, France.

On a daily basis, Airbus is pushing hard to get better products & services in terms of operations, maintenance, performance and sustainability. To meet these targets, the future programs will on-board new equipment and technologies that will need to be validated and checked with new ways of working.

The Electrical Systems & Electromagnetic Compatibility Test team is strongly involved in supporting this trend and preparing the future through new ways of testing and preparation of the test means of tomorrow.

The team is working on 2 types of activities : current flying fleet (through certification tests, predictive maintenance, support to airlines, ...), and also on the future aircraft (electrification trend, fuel cells, ...).

The selected candidate will be on-boarded into this dynamic team of more than 20 members.

Your challenges :

· 
Be oriented towards the electrification of aircraft and decarbonation (through activities delivering to new Hybrid electrical architecture, Hybridization Roadmap, ...) and support the future flying Program

· 
Intend at verifying and validating electrical technologies/architectures of the future and the associated control laws (hardware on remote testing, connection and integration of emulated models libraries)

· 
Require project and interface management to ensure proper communication towards all stakeholders (Program, R&T, Test Team(s), Test Means organization, Suppliers ...)

· 
Be a nice mix between theoretical and practice and involve a significant volume of testing to gather competences and skills and spread this knowledge into the team

Your boarding pass :

· 
Applicants will need to demonstrate their competence in electrics/power electronics (Master of Science and potential experience).

· 
Knowledge in Emulation (modeling of electrotechnical systems ideally using simulink, in FPGA programming and Programming of industrial automation systems, ideally using Dspace/controldesk) would be a plus

· 
Knowledge in remote testing would be a plus

· 
Good communication and basic project skills

· 
Candidate should be fluent in English

· 
Business travels can be expected twice a year in Europe or in the world and consequently, you must be willing to travel accordingly
