Description of the job

A vacancy for a System Engineer FCAS Avionics (d/f/m) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The successful applicant will join “Future Air Power”.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Analysis of Remote Carrier- and System of System-specific L1 requirements
- Development of MUT System & Architecture
- Definition of reference scenarios and L1/L2 functional requirements from avionic system point of view
- Preparation of requirements and design for cross platform mission and teaming intelligence functions

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- Degree in engineering / avionics, flight control or comparable
- Experience in system technical development processes and tools such as DOORS, Rhapsody, and Enterprise Architect etc. is desirable.
- Experience with the integration of avionics and weapon systems.
- Abstraction, creativity, accuracy, customer orientation, formal work, ability to work in a team.
- Fluent in German and English
