Description of the job

A vacancy for a Software Developer (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space Ulm. The successful applicant will join “Net Centric Solutions” in Jyväskylä Finland /Airbus DS Finland Oy

Compensation level: Compensation Level 13 (BW), if job requirements are met // Published until: 12.01.2017

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  SW development and testing activities for front end and back end SW in different systems/products
·  Develop and integrate Computing & Communication System/ Sub-system / Equipment / Component / Module matching the required safety, quality and performance levels according to Airbus systems engineering processes and the needs of our customers
·  Define checkpoints and reviews with associated maturity expectation aligned with program phases and gates
·  Provide sufficient detailed data and information about system elements to enable the implementation consistent with architectural entities as defined in models and views of the system architecture and in accordance with the allocated requirements

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Studied to a Master's level degree in software engineering or comparable education
·  Experience in agile/scrum development methods
·  Professional experience from SW development and/or testing
·  Experience from continuous integration desirable
·  Knowledge about different programming languages (Java, C/C++, ..)
·  Knowledge from the following is appreciated: Databases, Jenkins, Linux
·  Good communication and team working skills
·  Fluent Finnish language skills and English language skills at negotiation level.
