We are looking for a smart and reliable Software Test Automation Engineer to become part of the Airbus Defence and Space Romania team.

The ideal candidate has excellent abilities in Test Management, experience with different types of systems and structures (application, interface and underlying subsystems), good test automation skills, DevOps awareness and scripting skills.

Responsibilities:

·  Review requirements, specifications and technical documentation
·  Create and maintain the IV&V specific testing Artefacts (testing plans, test scenarios definition, test execution, defect handling, test completion reports, etc.)
·  Carry out the IV&V activities on the system integration platform until the system acceptance
·  Create and maintain test automation frameworks based on project’s needs, as well as performing research(Proof of Concepts)
·  Participate to project’s ceremonies(i.e. Agile, Waterfall, V-Model)
·  Based on business needs, travel outside the country may be required

Requirements:

Knowledge and skills:

·  Educated to a degree level in Computer Science and/or similar background
·  2-5 years working experience in software testing/system testing, ideally
·  Experience using test automation tools and implementing test frameworks in Java/Python/JavaScript or similar
·  Practitioner of Unit Testing, Continuous Integration, Build Automation, Agile Methodologies
·  Experience with Unix like Operating systems (e.g. Linux)
·  Knowledge and experience in test activities for large systems
·  Knowledge of continuous integration , build and deployment tools
·  Excellent analytical, debugging and conceptual skills
·  Networking fundamentals and troubleshooting
·  Some experience in Software Design Patterns/OOP would be considered an asset
·  Fluent in English
·  Police record clean
