TRAVEL REQUIRED: Occasional travel within UK 

LOCATION: Site (Typically 3 days a week in the office, 2 days remote)

You will be a Software Developer with experience in delivering software solutions and will work within a small scrum team to provide functionality for a new Satellite Communications Management Solution. You shall contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle and thus have solid experience in design using UML, development using Java technologies, test and using microservices.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM 

· 
Develop code within an agile environment (scrum).

· 
Work with the team to design, implement and test features for a new product development.

· 
Task estimation following sprint planning.

· 
Achieve quality code for a new product development using an agile methodology.

ABOUT YOU

· 
Java Core (version 8+)

· 
Experience of developing within a microservice architecture

· 
Web Services using RESTful APIs

· 
Spring Boot, Spring Framework - Good knowledge of Developing in Spring with Hibernate

· 
Agile Environment
