Job Description

A vacancy for a Front Office Trader Asset- and Liability Management (m/f) has arisen within Airbus in Toulouse. You will join the Front Office of the Integrated Treasury.

Integrated Treasury is the in-house bank, being in charge of hedging, cash investments as well as corporate funding. The Dealing Room within Integrated Treasury manages a portfolio of USD 80bn foreign exchange derivatives, EUR 6bn interest rate derivatives, between EUR 15-20bn treasury investments as well as smaller transactions in selected commodities.

You will perform your work in a truly international environment (Banks, Treasury Team and internal clients).

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Follow development of financial markets and derive appropriate strategies to benefit from/mitigate impacts from market events
·  Manage the Asset- and Liability position of the group by ensuring daily liquidity and appropriate interest rate risk management
·  Manage the liquidity risk of the group by providing appropriate cash forecast and investing in money market instruments.
·  Manage the long term investments (bonds) of the group (duration and credit risk strategy)
·  Further implementation of asset liability management tools including acquisition of treasury investments
·  Preparation of the Asset- and Liability Committee (ALCO) including a proposal of a long term asset allocation, optimization of interest result and proposed hedging strategy for the asset and liability position (ALM)
·  Annual review of the investment strategy and guidelines
·  Conducting own asset allocation analysis to further improve future strategic asset allocation
·  Manage both projects on ALM as well as other (IT) projects within the dealing room (including preparation of request for proposals to main stakeholders)
·  Explore and implement solutions for electronic trading in ALM (e.g. electronic bond trading)
·  Review and improve processes within ALM (trading, monitoring, etc.). Ensure compliance with audit rules, ethic & compliance standards; strengthen the digitalization of processes (integration of spread sheets to treasury management system, management reporting, preparation of committees, workflow and process improvement)
·  Support dealing room on FX hedging and commercial tenders

You will have the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to a Master degree level in Finance
·  At least 3 years of experience within a treasury of a major corporate, bank, asset manager, treasury consultant or IT project management
·  Profound knowledge of interest rate risk management, credit risk, corporate bond risk analysis, FX risk, money market instruments and pricing of common derivatives is mandatory
·  Practice of pricing/risk management software as well as a good knowledge about hedge accounting, effectiveness tests is required
·  Business project management especially on IT issues (good knowledge of IT systems, treasury management tools, processes)
·  A good basis in quantitative skills, counter party risk assessment of derivative portfolios and the consequences on the pricing of hedges (Credit Valuation Adjustment, Value-at-Risk, and Expected Exposure) are important
·  High degree of flexibility to facilitate a great variety of requests in parallel and ability to work under time pressure
·  Team spirit, ability to transfer knowledge, ability to work autonomously, strong communication skills required

Language skills: Negotiation level of English
