A vacancy for a Scrum Master und Agile Coach(d/f/m) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The successful applicant will join 'TEAXS-TL3 - EF Embedded RTS Development'.

Tasks & accountabilities

For the department Eurofighter Weapon System (TEAXS) we are looking for a Scrum Master and Agile Coach.

Main Tasks are:
- Taking over the tasks of a Scrum Master in a scaled environment for several teams (moderation and organization of the Scrum Meetings, conflict management, obstacle removal, protection of the team)
- Coaching of teams to create and maintain an autonomous and self-organized way of working with agile principles.
- Promoting openness and a culture of trust in the respective project teams
- Being the central point of contact for the topic Agile and Scrum for the area TEAXS
- Establishing and maintaining contacts for exchange and synchronization with other agile sectors in Airbus Defence & Space
- Creation and holding of trainings and workshops on agility, Scrum, values and principles as well as role understanding
- Proactively disseminate agile thinking to stakeholders outside the Scrum Teams
- Take over the cross-hierarchical implementation and maintenance of learnings to accelerate and further develop agile transition and the scaled approach
- Transfer of existing areas into an agile environment and embedding of this into a holistic approach
- Sharing knowledge with other Scrum Masters and Product Owners

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

- Degree in Engineering / Real-time Software, Computer Science. Aerospace engineering or comparable
- Several years of experience as an active part of an agile project
- Stake agile basic attitude and knowledge about agile procedures (Scrum, Kanban, XP, Pair Programming, TDD; BDD, etc.)
- Collected experience and intrinsic motivation regarding the application of techniques and approaches of the agile environment (e.g. retrospective, story maps,refinements etc.)
- Strong communication skills, empathy and the willingness to take on responsibility
- Experience in hardware-related software design and software development is a plus
- Several years of experience as Scrum Master or Agile Coach in agile projects is a plus
- Knowledge of agile scaling (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus, Scrum Of Scrum, Spotify) is a plus
- Experience in the development of complex avionics systems according to the V-model is a plus
- Experience with development tools and processes (Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery)
- Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new tools and/or experience in handling project and documentation tools (e.g. Jira and Confluence)
- Business fluent German and English level
