Job Objectives

·  To provide required support to the Commercial Analytics team
·  We drive back-end activities internally that supports the broader Commercial community to use big data for decision making and strategic purposes; contributing to business competitiveness and customer satisfaction
·  Contribute to become the Centre of Excellence for all required commercial analytical requirements and drive further development & automation of the same.

Job Responsibilities

·  Prepare business and pipeline reports for team and management meetings
·  Develop and maintain databases, including data model design, data collection and data cleaning
·  Apply basic coding to merge, compare, analyze data sets
·  Identify and interpret patterns and trends in data sets, providing analytical support and insights to the commercial team.
·  Other administrative tasks or duties reasonably determined from time to time by the Company
·  Comply with Material Services’ mission, values and Quality Management procedures
·  Maintain dialogue and work closely with other functions including Commercial & Support, Product Management and Operations teams to understand the business as well as developments and trends in the market

Job Requirements

·  Diploma/Degree in Management/ Administration or equivalent
·  Analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights
·  Knowledge of Google Suite, Microsoft Office or other relevant tools used for data analytics and visualisation
·  Fluency in English and ability to communicate clearly to stakeholders
·  Basic coding proficiency in Python, R etc preferred
·  Strong analytical capability with ability to deliver data analysis that drives decision making
·  Identify and offer suggestions to improve efficiency
·  Have an inter-cultural understanding
·  Contribute towards a positive and inspiring working environment.
·  Must work effectively with others in a team environment as well as work independently with little supervision, depending on the task at hand
·  High level of communication skills and effective interpersonal skills appropriate for interacting with customers and stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
·  Strong presentation skills and able to communicate professionally​
