We are currently looking for a SAP Basis Administrator to join our Stevenage site. The site is readily accessible by public transport, is close to the Motorway and has on-site parking – we also provide a cycle to work scheme.

Not only will you be joining our wider international team, working hand-in-hand with our internal and external customers, you will be working closely with the local team (12) and enjoying the benefit of up-to-date technology and refurbished offices.

Travel may be required a couple of times each year
This role comes with an On-Call rota of 2 weeks per month, currently, with rare call-outs. On-Call comes with additional remuneration.

Tasks & accountabilities

As a professional SAP Basis administrator you will be a key member of the ERP backbone Services team:

·  Supporting a complex SAP landscape running on a mix of SAP HANA DB and Oracle.

·  Working closely with SAP functional and back office teams to monitor performance and ensure service availability.

·  Supporting project teams on a range of SAP basis topics i.e. patching, enhancements, upgrades.

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.

Required skills

·  All round basis knowledge for SAP on various technologies (i.e. ABAP, Java, Business Objects, HANA,

·  SAP installations, upgrades, support packs

·  Ability to work with a small local team and also in virtual international teams

·  Desire to learn, develop and share knowledge and experience

Any experience with the following will be of benefit, however we are happy to provide training:

·  Gateway, Fiori, ERP, BW).

·  Support and delivery across multiple SAP OS/DB platforms (i.e. UNIX, Windows, Linux, HANA, Oracle)

·  experience of Solman 7.2 ideal

·  SAP on HANA DB (experience with SAP systems on Windows / SQL a bonus)

·  Virtualised systems

·  Backup and recovery of SAP systems including DR design and implementation

·  SAP Landscape Transformation Replication Server (SLT)
