Job Description:

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Repairables Liaison (PBH) to join our Air Methods team based in Grand Prairie, TX.

Your duties will consists of collaborating with internal repair shops to establish an overall strategy to meet customer demand for rotable asset inventory for both standard customers and Parts by the Hour contracts. The position will also monitor rotable inventory levels and prioritize equipment that should flow through WIP (Work In Progress) inventory, provide solutions for complex data issues and prioritization of equipment items to meet customer demand.

Your challenges:

·  Develop and maintain systems for forecasting and managing rotable pool inventory to support AHI Commercial Customers.
·  Work closely with Pool Asset Coordinator to follow completion dates of parts in repair.
·  Act as a liaison between Spares and internal shops as well as GSC (Global Supply Chain) procurement team to provide updates as needed including delivery schedules/delays to Rotable Activity team.
·  Coordinate and monitor the work of various departments involved in production, warehousing, and distribution of material with regards to Repairable activity.
·  Work closely with accounting maintaining their WIP status, which includes closing service orders, resolving costing issues, explanations and resolutions.
·  Develop and maintain strong relationships/communications with external repair vendors, to include monitoring of vendor performance activity on a quarterly basis in conjunction with AHI Supply Chain team.

Your boarding pass:

·  Five (5) years of experience in Customer, MRO, or Logistic support in an aviation environment.
·  Three (3) years of SAP experience (preferably in Sales & Distribution, Customer Service (CS), MRO or Procurement.)
·  Experience required with subcontracting items for repair.
·  Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.
·  Ability to resolve issues in effective/practical ways.
·  Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form in English.

Physical Requirements:  

·  Onsite or remote:  95+%  - very limited travel required
·  Vision: able to see and read computer screens and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings.   Daily
·  Hearing: able to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on the production floor including safety warnings or alarms.   Daily
·  Speaking:  able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications.   Daily
·  Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools such as hydraulic lifts.   Daily
·  Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 10lbs/5kgs.   Daily
·  Lifting:  able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 10lbs/5kgs.   Daily
·  Pushing / Pulling:  able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools.  Occasionally
·  Sitting:  able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on the computer.   Daily
·  Squatting / Kneeling:  able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving.  Occasionally
·  Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on the production floor.  Daily
·  Travel:  able to travel independently and at short notice.  Frequently
·  Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents):  able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces.   Occasionally
·  Personal Protective Equipment required:  Required PPE includes, but is not limited to, Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, Respirators/Masks, and/or Protective Gloves as required by site and/or customer site
·  Administrative position only PPE required: Steel-toed shoes are required for all shop floor visits, appropriate hearing/eye protection may also be required when visiting the shop floor.
