Description of the job

A vacancy for a PLM Domain Expert has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Portsmouth.

The successful candidate will be subject to UK National Security Clearance in order to undertake related work in accordance with business needs.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

The functional PLM expert will be responsible to:

·  Collect user requirements from the different business stake holders
·  Define with the different stake holders what is the best solution to suit their needs
·  Ensure right use of standard Airbus Defence & Space PLM by the different stake holders and to minimize customization requests
·  Validate that solution delivered suits the customer needs
·  Provide PLM expertise in order to support the solution
·  Participate to the change management in order to foster PLM deployment
·  Support Business during new releases test phases
·  Coordinate local operation phases

The mission will be to:

·  Collaborate to the TOISC roadmap definition
·  Collaborate to business acquisition through the capture of business requirements and definition of solution based on Airbus defence & Space PLM solutions
·  Be in close relationship with TOISC customers in UK
·  Act as PLM expert for Windchill projects within the frame of Windchill Connect projects
·  Endorse PLM and PDM process within Windchill Connect projects

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Degree qualified in a relevant IM, IT related subject or equivalent
·  Proven experience within the PLM domain being able to demonstrate successful delivery into a complex business ensuring delivery is on time, cost and quality
·  Proven communication and stakeholder management of both internal and external customers
·  Knowledge and experience of Windchill
·  Proven experience in requirements capture, validation and solution delivery in line with business objectives
