We are looking for a qualified UK and European Patent Attorney to join our team in Bristol and be part of the next steps in the evolution of the aerospace industry as we push the boundaries of technology and shape the future of flight!
Desired profile
Tasks & accountabilities
Your professional experience will enable you to be comfortable dealing with technologies in the aerospace sector. You will have excellent communication skills and have the ability to tailor your communication style to suit your audience. You will be given a high level of autonomy and have the flexibility to prioritise your own work load based on business need. You will be comfortable working in a transnational team and be happy to travel, as in needed in a global company such as Airbus.
Your workload will involve ‘core' Patent Attorney work such as invention harvesting, patent drafting and prosecution, opposition work and providing freedom to operate services. In addition, you will be involved commercial contract work, including advising, preparing and being involved in the negotiation of intellectual property clauses in collaboration agreements and other contracts. You will get first-hand experience of intellectual property in action and how it can be used to boost competitive advantage.
Required skills
Essential:
Fully qualified and registered UK Chartered Patent Attorney and a fully qualified and registered European Patent Attorney with demonstrable experience of legal counselling in the field of Intellectual Property (IP)
Engineering Degree or equivalent
Desirable:
Passion for Technology
