A vacancy for a Outreach Coordinator has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Stevenage.
The successful applicant will join Employment Operations Team.

Tasks & accountabilities
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
Manage the Outreach programme for all Airbus Defence and Space sites in the UK.
Deploy the Outreach Strategy in UK
Be the focal point for all Outreach programmes
Coordinate all activities carried out by STEM ambassadors
Manage DBS requirements for current and new ambassadors
Work closely with Outreach Officers to ensure all activities are up to date and in line with requirements
Monitor the Outreach Budgets
Manage the Ambassador Network and ensure that the required resources are in place
Develop and coordinate Work Experience programme
To work alongside North Herts College to deliver exciting and engaging education programmes out of the new Airbus Group STEM centre, to support curriculum enrichment and maximising the opportunity to work alongside the Airbus Mars Rover project.
Engagement with the wider STEM and outreach community to position the Airbus Group STEM Experience as part of a network of opportunities and identify opportunities to share resources and programmes. This includes building relationships with the UK Space Agency and NASA to identify opportunities for engagement with the new centre, sponsorship and sharing of resources.
Support North Herts College in the operational delivery of the new centre. This will include agreeing the price for visits, staffing and other resource requirements, rotas, timetable, budgets, stock control and booking systems.
Promotion of the new centre in conjunction with the marketing team, to generate interest and deliver the visitor numbers in line with expected revenue. This will include developing and delivering roadshows and outreach activities.
Responsible for creating a business SharePoint community, to inform AIRBUS Group staff of the centre and create a platform to ask questions, make suggestions and participate.
Provide regular reports internally on the Key Performance Indicators set out in the Teaming agreement with North Herts College for the delivery and outputs of the new Centre.
Work alongside the STEM Centre Manager to bring Airbus activities including Outreach events in line with the new Airbus Group STEM Centre.
Management and refreshment of the ‘meet the staff' interaction area
Required skills
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
You should be educated to a degree level in a relevant discipline.
Previous Experience with STEM or Outreach activities.
Proven ability and capability to work in an organised and effective manner.
Previous experience in successful delivery of projects and events.
Knowledgeable of STEM activities.
You should have an approachable manner and be able to effectively communicate at all levels.
