Description of the job :
A vacancy for a Satellite RF (Radio Frequency) System Engineer (M/F) has arisen within OneWeb Satellites in Toulouse.

As a lead RF systems engineer you work with a cross functional engineering team to design hardware solutions to meet customer requirements. You work directly with customers in a lead technical role to produce RF payload requirements to meet customer objectives.

# RF system design and analysis

# Expert knowledge of RF system design and its practical application to complex RF subsystems
# Expert knowledge on the architecture, analysis and simulation of complex RF systems
# Expert knowledge of the design and implementation of RF hardware such as up/down converters, SSPAs, LNAs, filters, isolators, input/output multiplexers
# Expert knowledge on the usage of software simulation tools such as SystemVUE for RF sub-system design
# Produce technical documentation for equipment specifications, test plans, procedures and reports as well as theory of operation of RF payloads
# Technical management of RF subcontractors using sub-contracting best practices
# Produce technical review material for customers
# Able to exercise judgment in selecting methods and techniques to obtain solutions
# Perform engineering trade studies based on technical, cost, and schedule evaluations

Required skills :
As the successful candidate, you should be able to demonstrate the following skills and competencies:

Masters’ degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience

8+ years' experience, with at least 5 years directly-related experience:
# Payload design with experience of RF related payload technologies
# Experience in design, development of satellite RF payload subsystems

- Proactive approach
- Results-oriented and autonomous
- Good organization and presentation skills
- Team working
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary international team
- Negciation level of English
