Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Multi-Sensor Data Fusion Designer (f/m) to join our System Design team based in Toulouse, France.
You will be part of a team developing cutting-edge Communication, Navigation and Surveillance (CNS) architectures and enabling technologies. As part of the CNS System Design group, you will be involved in the definition, design, and integration of advanced data fusion functions, aiming at preparing future architectures and services to support airline operations and business performance.

Your challenges:

Define high-level objectives and technical requirements for new or enhanced CNS functions
·
Design, develop and validate signal processing and data fusion algorithms for integration into aircraft systems
·
Contribute to safety, verification, validationnand certification activities
·
Ensure robust deployment of these functions on current and future Airbus platforms
·
Collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment with internal teams, academia and industrial partners
·
Drive innovation while managing project delivery on time, cost, quality and performance
Your boarding pass:
·
Background in Aeronautical, Electronics or Systems Engineering required
·
Advanced knowledge in signal processing or automatic systems
·
Strong expertise in multi-sensor fusion, estimation algorithms (e.g. Kalman filters), diagnostics
·
Experience with Matlab/Simulink, C/C++ or Python for algorithm implementation
·
Knowledge of CNS systems (GNSS, ILS, RA, Inertial, Weather Radar, ACAS...) or image-based technologies (vision, radar, lidar, camera…)
·
Basic competencies in project management
·
Fluent in English
·
Intermediate level of French required
