Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Multi-Program Fatigue & Damage Tolerance (F&DT) Engineer (f/m) to join our Fuselage Structure Analysis NCF/NFF Team based in Toulouse, France.
Join the Nose and Center Fuselage (NCF) Engineering Teams and become part of an integrated team with a global perspective on aircraft structure design and certification.
We are looking for a highly motivated Fatigue & Damage Tolerance (F&DT) Engineer to join our multi-program team, specializing in post-delivery activities, maintenance, and continuous airworthiness.
In this role, you will play a key, cross-program role, providing essential F&DT expertise across the following aircraft families: Single Aisle (SA), Long Range (LR), and A350.

Your challenges :

F&DT Activities & Milestones: Take part in and ensure the successful execution of critical F&DT activities and project milestones.
·
Technical Validation: Validate and support the signature of Stress Dossiers across the entire perimeter (including Airbus Operations, Airbus Atlantic, RSP, etc.).
·
In-Service Analysis: Perform advanced F&DT analysis specifically related to Certification, Maintenance, and Continuous Airworthiness – ISO
·
Quality & Performance: Support the Technical Leader in ensuring the highest quality and performance standards for all F&DT deliverables.
·
Coordination & Follow-up: Act as a key link, ensuring the effective follow-up of F&DT activities by coordinating with specialists, seniors, and the broader analysis community.

Airworthiness Compliance: Actively participate in relevant technical and Airworthiness Reviews (ARMs with EASA, meetings with Local Safety Authorities - LSA) - EngO, ManO
·
Risk Management: Proactively evaluate, mitigate, and escalate technical risks when required.
·
Process Improvement: Support the deployment of best practices and lessons learned within the team and across functions.
·
Subcontractor Management: Organize and manage the follow-up of specific F&DT topics handled by partners (Airbus Atlantic, Subcontracting parties, and Airbus India).

Reporting: Clearly report technical progress and escalate critical issues to the Technical Leader and Department Leader.
Your boarding pass :

Experience: You have a strong, relevant professional experience (ideally > 2 years) in Fatigue & Damage Tolerance (F&DT) within the aerospace sector (SA, A350, LR, or other Airbus/Aero programs). You have worked on ISO, ManO, EngO.

Technical Drive: A genuine desire to further develop your stress analysis capabilities, particularly in complex F&DT scenarios.

Program Agility: Excited by the opportunity to work across multiple, diverse aircraft programs (SA, LR, A350).
·
Decision Making: Proven ability to navigate complex technical situations and contribute to critical decisions.
·
Continuous Airworthiness: You see yourself as a key technical contributor to the future challenges of aircraft maintenance programs.

Leadership & Communication: Based on the leadership model, you are capable of managing activities, including associated Risks & Opportunities, and can adapt your communication style to different organizational levels.
