Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a MP&T Assembly Technology Engineer   (f/m) to join our Assembly Technology team based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a team developing Materials and processes. As part of the Assembly Technology team, you will work as an Assembly Technologies and Fastening Systems specialist, supporting aircraft developments through research, design, production and in-service with the mission to develop, standardise and deploy optimum assembly technologies and industrial fastening products to enable automated assembly and sustainable aviation.

Your challenges:

· 
Develop, test and deploy mature Materials Processes & Test Assembly Technologies requirements for industrial applications.

· 
Define and lead R&T and qualification test programmes.

· 
Ensure support for Plant improvement projects including performance improvement, cost/time reduction.

· 
Analyse qualification-, simulation- and test data in order to verify the structural performance of assembly technologies and fastening systems.

· 
Provide engineering inputs and requirements into product and process specification  and technical documentation.

· 
Provide Assembly Technology requirements to fastening systems product and installation process projects.

· 
Provide Assembly Technology support to other Airbus departments, suppliers and customers.

 

Your boarding pass:

· 
You have a university degree in Engineering or equivalent ideally combined with first experience in mechanical assembly.

· 
You bring strong skills in the qualification, test, simulation and verification of automated and robotic systems.

· 
You have proven professional experiences in developing and deploying mechanical assembly methods as well as in manufacturing processes.

· 
You are experienced in dealing with internal and external interfaces.

· 
You are able to communicate at all levels of the organization and across all departments combined with a solutions-oriented mindset.

· 
You are a team player and bring the ability to perform in an agile environment.

· 
Your English & French language skills are at negotiation level
