Job Description
A vacancy for a R&T Project Engineer - Assembly Technologies (m/f) has arisen within STELIA Aerospace in Meaulte (Near Paris).
You will interface with all perimeters and sites of STELIA Aerospace.
You will steer the project activities and budgets around the topics of assembly technologies. You will also ensure the achievement of objectives as the project manager.
Your main tasks will include:
· Developing and taking part in the development of collaborative projects,
· As a member of the team, participating in R&T multidisciplinary projects,
· Taking part in the creation of the Strategic RoadMap of the team,
· Exchanging with partner laboratories and companies in the context of the projects,
· Exchange with institution representatives,
· Leading/taking part in internal exchange network on the assembly topic,
· Leading/taking part in the activity of the Assembly and Automation team (creativity, animations, exchanges, workshops, etc.),
· Ensuring an active technology watch in the aeronautical assembly field,
· Representing STELIA Aerospace during conferences and trade shows in the assembly technologies field
· Filing patents.
This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
As the successful candidate, you should be able to demonstrate some of the following skills & experience:
· Engineering degree or a PhD in Mechanical Engineering,
· At least an initial experience in the Industry,
· Experience as a Mechanical Engineer or as a R&T Engineer,
· Ideally, knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes,
· Knowledge of office and digital tools (simulation, IT programming, industrial IT, etc.),
· Good communication and interpersonal skills,
· Ability to work within a team,
· Willingness and creativity,
· Advanced level of French and English.
