Your location: Hamburg Finkenwerder
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.

Are you wondering how you actually get from university to Airbus? Your working student position is at the Finkenwerder plant and you can take the ferry from Teufelsbrück to the Airbus ferry terminal and back to the university in the morning and at noon. Alternatively, you can take the ferry to Finkenwerder and then ride your bike for about another 15 minutes to the main entrance.

Your tasks and responsibilities
·
Multi Physics Simulation using abacus (after introduction, some relevant skills will be helpfull)
·
Define process boundary conditions together with the industrial architects
·
Prepare detailed process descriptions
·
Perform Simulation cycles based on different boundary conditions
·
Creating outcome summary in presentations
Desired skills and qualifications
·
Enrolled full-time student (Bachelor) in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a comparable field of study
·
Mandatory internship required as part of your studies
·
First practical experience in simulation, engineering or industrial processes is a plus
·
Basic knowledge in Abaqus or similar simulation tools is beneficial
·
Strong interest in multi-physics simulation and industrial architecture
·
Fluent English is mandatory, German is a plus
·
Analytical mindset and structured way of working
·
Open, communicative and team-oriented personality
