Job Description

A vacancy for a Technical Data Wiring Engineer (d/f/m) has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Hamburg. You will join the 'Schematics & Wiring' department.

This opportunity has arisen in Airbus Customer Services, to join the Operational Unit 'Technical Data', which is in charge of developing, delivering and supporting aircraft maintenance documentation.
Maintenance documentation is directly used by the customers (airlines, MRO, lessors), to enable the safe and efficient accomplishment of maintenance operations, from aircraft entry into service and to maintain it all along of the aircraft life cycle, following airworthiness requirements and regulations.

This position offers a wide view on electrical, electro-mechanical aircraft systems, in direct relation with the Design Office / Upgrades / Suppliers, which manage the systems design and evolution pre- and post-deliveries.
We are in charge of documenting their impact on technical data, and we support our customers, who are operating and maintaining aircraft systems.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Satisfy the customer's maintenance needs
·  Support the safety and the maintainability of all Airbus aircrafts in operations by delivering a customized documentation (electrical consolidated view)
·  Provide accessible information for aircraft operators, secure completeness and accuracy of all delivered Information
·  Support any potential in service issue and be proactive in case of Aircraft On Ground and/or questions raised by any Airline
·  Contribute to airlines profitability by proposing efficiency enhancement
·  Act as a business activity leader for monitoring the 2 Local Lines FR and GE within the perimeter of Aircraft Schematic Manual (ASM), Aircraft Wiring Manual (AWM) and Aircraft Wire List (AWL)
·  Monitor the budget, synchronize the forecast and the Airbus Operational Plan
·  Steer the subcontracted activities and ensure that the quality system is complying with Airbus regulations and standards
·  Establish and maintain technical link with Engineering and with suppliers, for source data collection and for Validation
·  Act in the PMT (Process Method and Tools) definition and Evolution
·  Drive transnational Technical Data authoring activities in accordance with specifications, contractual commitments, approved schedules, quality standards

The jobholder (d/f/m) also plays a key role in terms of continuous improvements for Technical Data processes & tools and for transnational standardization.
With credits of experience and upon management nomination, the jobholder (d/f/m) could extend his responsibilities by taking transverses missions such as Technical Data Customer Interface (TDCI) aiming at coordinating major technical data subjects specific to a portfolio of airlines/lessors.

·  State certified technician
·  Knowledge of aircraft systems and aeronautics
·  First experience in Customer Services
·  Knowledge of aircraft electrical maintenance and aircraft configuration Management
·  Knowledge of Production and Project Management
·  Proactivity, good team player and organizational skills
·  Communication skills and assertiveness
·  Curious and open-minded for change and continuous improvement
·  Fluent in English and advanced German language skills
