As an intern you will learn about divisional sourcing for IT Infrastructure delivered to our External Customers (Ministries of Defence, Agencies...etc.). This internship offers full visibility on key projects of Airbus Defence and Space as TOPIT supports all Programme Lines in our division.
Specific Role:
Procurement - Commodity IT Hardware & Software - Sub-commodity Mobile Equipment.
In your role as Commodity Buyer, you will support the Commodity Manager in Friedrichshafen in charge of the Divisional sourcing for Shelters & Containers (Mobile Equipment). Furthermore you will assist the rest of the team for IT & SW divisional demands.
Your exciting Tasks:
· Assisting in the identification and gathering of purchasing potentials
· Standardization and bundling of demands, professional evaluation and development of our suppliers
· Support and launch RFI/RFP events (via the Airbus DS procurement tool) and follow up the ordering process
· Preparation of negotiation results and supplier proposals
· Assisting in the creation of the respective commodity- and supplier strategies
· Special tasks. e.g. project tasks to support team leaders
You offer:
- Enrolled student within Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Economics or similar field of study
- Google Suite, MS Office
- English: fluent
You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently.
