Are you looking for an internship? Would you like to discover the work within the Procurement Cabin Strategy team? Then apply now! We look forward to you joining us as an intern (m/f) in Hamburg with 35 hours/week (flexi-time).
Location: Hamburg
Start: May 2018
Duration: 5-6 months
Afterwards there is the possibility for writing a final thesis, upon agreement with the department.
Procurement Cabin Strategy is a transversal department based in Hamburg and Toulouse, coordinating three fields of activities for Procurement Cabin: Strategy Development, Business Improvement and Operational Excellence. The team members centrally cover topics like Project and Change Management, Digitalization, Innovation Management, Business Intelligence, Sourcing Strategy, Processes and Tools.

Tasks & accountabilities
Your exciting tasks:
· Working together with the database team to document user stories and define data models
· Building a mockup/concept in PowerPoint or Excel for dashboards
· Development of simple VBA Scripts in Excel and strategic Supplier-Assessments
· Concept development of a product database
· Build and develop a prototype for the department with Excel, Access or web based
· Support of the digitalization roadmap from the Procurement Cabin (Cabin Cockpit) department
· Identification of data sources
Required skills
You offer:
· Enrolled student within Business Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management/Logistics, Business Administration or a similar field of study
· Good MS-Office Skills
· First experiences with agile programming and VBA would be a plus
· English: fluent
· German: advanced (desirable)
You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills and are able to work independently.
