Duration: 6 months
Afterwards there is the possibility for writing a final thesis, upon agreement with the department.

As an intern you will learn about the Airbus BizLab ( www.airbus-bizlab.com), which is a global aerospace accelerator where startups and Airbus intrapreneurs speed up the transformation of innovative ideas into valuable businesses.
Airbus BizLab has developed a “hybrid” concept that includes Airbus internal innovation projects and external early-stage startups. Both follow the six-month “acceleration programme” in the designated co-working space. Through this programme, Airbus BizLab gives access to a large number of coaches, experts and mentors in various domains: technology, legal, finance, marketing & communication; easing prototyping and access to market.
The Airbus BizLab focuses not only on projects, whose innovations improve the aircraft directly. It also supports solutions for the entire value chain and different business sectors, such as production, purchasing and human resources.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your exciting tasks:

·  Study the innovation ecosystem on the African continent
·  Support the Airbus BizLab Acceleration Programme
·  Adapt existing and/or new research of specific innovation methods and tools to the Airbus BizLab
·  Practically validate the adaptation of specific methods and tools for the Airbus BizLab

Required skills

You offer:

·  Enrolled student within Innovation/ Entrepreneurship, Applied Social Studies, Anthropology/ African Studies or similar field of study
·  Practical experiences in Innovation Management, Start-Ups and/or Accelerator Business are very desired
·  English: negotiation level

You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills with an open mind-set, and are able to work independently.
