Description of the job

Are you looking for an internship? Would you like to discover the work of a Product Manager? Then apply now! We look forward to you joining us as an intern (m/f) at Satair Group Customer Service and Support (35 hours/week, flexi-time).

Duration: 3-6 months
Afterwards there is the possibility for writing a final thesis, upon agreement with the department.

As an intern you will acquire an in-depth insight into Product Management for Vendor Parts, which is part of the Satair Groups Competitive business lines offering. Within our Competitive Business unit you will be involved in ensuring that the market is served in an efficient way by building long term relationships with suppliers, customers and maintaining an offer through product and service development that provides superior value to aircraft operators and suppliers. You will work out of Satair Group's office in Hamburg.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your exciting tasks:

·  Actively managing the creation and implementation of global marketing and sales plans for our product line responsibility
·  Total product budget analysis and reporting for Vendor Parts
·  Contributing to the development of Vendor Parts as in cooperation with Satair Groups Product Management organisation
·  Working closely with Satair Groups Sales organisation in maintaining and winning new business
·  Working closely with our Supply Chain organisation to optimize the product lines' inventory investment and providing them with

necessary market trend intelligence

·  Further expand Satair Groups market position on Vendor Parts
·  Handling all reporting and data analysis to identify opportunities for market expansion

Required skills

You offer:

·  Enrolled student within Procurement, Business Administration, Business Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, General Engineering, Supply Chain Management or similar field of study
·  Proficient use of Excel is required
·  English: negotiation level
·  German/French language skills are appreciated

You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently.
