Job Description:

An opportunity for an Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe.

On this position your will support the manufacturing and delivery of our Military Aircrafts.

One of the most challenging projects within Airbus

Our organization,  INDUSTRIAL SERVICES , is responsible for managing all Industrial Means and external Industrial services. This comprises:

· 
Industrial asset management & Maintenance

· 
Tool center management and industrial supplies

· 
Outsourced Industrial services: Jet fuel supply, work wear, aerial platforms, Ground Support Equipment, cranes, vehicles,  Protective Equipment, etc

· 
Industrial Organization & Improvement: KAIZEN development, CAPEX acquisition, workshop empowerment, etc.

Scope: all Military Aircrafts in Getafe:

· 
A330 MRTT

· 
A400 retrofit

· 
Combat, EFA and classic MRO

Main role: INDUSTRIAL SERVICES ENGINEER

· 
The Industrial Services Engineer defines and coordinates Industrial Services according to: the make and buy strategy,  production needs, the annual budget and the supply base capabilities

· 
Lead Asset management activities to enable the organization to realize value from assets in the achievement of its organizational objectives: Safety, Quality, cost, ...

· 
Ensure the maintenance of industrial assets: Jigs & Tools, machines, Ground support equipment, test means, aerial platforms, power tools

· 
Tool Center: Ensure the availability of hand tools and production consumables

· 
Promote and develop improvement opportunities in terms of safety, productivity and cost reduction

· 
Lead digital transformation

In your day to day, you will be involved with the Production teams, learning, solving difficulties, feeling useful, being part of something important.

Skills:

· 
Industrial engineering is the preferred education

· 
We also greatly appreciate your experience in production as Team Leader or Foreman

· 
At least 3 years of experience working in related areas such as production, project management, procurement &SC, maintenance, Lean &improvement, contract and stakeholder management

· 
Advanced level in Spanish and English

· 
Experience working with subcontractors and supply chain teams is desired.

· 
Soft skills: Good communicator, creativity, focus on delivery, team player, analysis capacity, planning and project organization ability and flexibility

Knowledge and Keywords:

Schedule and presence:
