Accountabilities

Operations:

As head of Composites CDT for HMC, the accountabilities are:

· 
To manufacture and deliver all the composite components in HMC on time, cost and quality, by leading the production team and driving the supporting functions, under the guidance of the General Manager, and taking into account the programme assumptions translated from customer demand

· 
To lead by example, being accountable and responsible of Safety in the Composite CDT perimeter

· 
To organise and manage the production team and supporting functions to meet delivery targets and achieve continuous improvement of the operational performance

· 
To establish needs and proactively pull required support from all supporting functions to meet operation targets achievement and escalate requests for support to the General Manager through fact based Practical Problem Solving (PPS) standard

· 
To agree, together with the General Manager, on Targets and Priorities, Budget/CapEx, continuous improvement objectives and Resource Management

· 
Reporting to Board of Directors / Shareholders

Manufacturing Engineering:

As Head of Manufacturing Engineering for Composites CDT, the accountabilities are:

· 
To provide the composite manufacturing Technology, Production Lines, Machines' NC programming and Jigs and Tooling Industrialisation capabilities to support the operation on new and Serial Programmes

· 
To deploy end-to-end capable industrial performance solutions (process, methods…) embedding AOS standards

· 
To ensure the continuous optimisation of the Industrial Systems

· 
To contribute to the Recurring Cost improvement and target setting

· 
To contribute to Cost of Non-Quality reduction

· 
To support the shopfloor in daily problem solving on Work Preparation requests

· 
To improve the environmental footprint of the Industrial System

· 
To manage the creation, verification and validation of industrial requirements

· 
To lead Manufacturing Technologies improvement activities, as well as operational, ergonomic, and safety related Jigs & Tools specification and installation upgrades and commissioning

· 
To control the interface with customers/suppliers for all drawings, specifications, etc.

· 
To provide manufacturing engineering support to supply chain about ToW, supplier industrial assessment, problem solving…

Main activities

Governance:

· 
Lead the SQCDP L3 meeting, ensuring a robust escalation and feedback channel through SQCDP L1-L4

· 
Organise and lead composite manufacturing routine meetings with all support functions (quality, maintenance, finance, planning, programme, EHS, HR, supply chain, AOS)

· 
Participate in management level routines: weekly management meeting, monthly industrial reviews, monthly PRM, etc.

Safety:

· 
Setup and promote the safety culture in the whole Composite CDT and continuously improve the safety standard

· 
Ensure safety instructions are fully embedded by the team in their work

· 
Make sure all team members attend relevant safety trainings according to EHS requirements

· 
Engage the team in raising unsafe conditions to avoid incidents and accidents

Quality:

· 
Ensure all products manufactured comply with drawings/specification requirements

· 
Lead continuous improvement of CnQ through PPS, PDCA, etc…

· 
Setup speak-up and listen-up culture, and maintain the quality mindset of the team

· 
Create preventive mindset through APQP elements (PFMEA, CPK, SPC, etc…)

· 
Support quality audits (AS9100, NADCAP, etc…)

Cost:

· 
Optimise composite manufacturing to reduce material consumption

· 
Engage team to raise best ideas related to cost saving and promote cost awareness

· 
Closely monitor CVAT and efficiency and find opportunities for continuous improvement

· 
Ensure CDT cost is in line with budget

Delivery:

· 
Ensure planning adherence targets achievement and on time delivery

· 
Cooperate with maintenance and tooling teams to fully implement TPS for equipment and tooling in order to improve industrial means’ OEE and Technical Availability  

· 
Improve AOS maturity by leading the operational AOS bricks to achieve operational excellence; brick owner for VSA, SOI, SLB, PPC, 5S and SQCDP

· 
Risk management and mitigation for manufacturing process, industrial means, people skills, capacity, etc…

· 
Structure APT organisation and implement it into daily work

People:

· 
Lead the people development, knowledge transfer, skill extension, and training of the CDT

· 
Continuously improve the working environment, employee’s satisfaction and engagement

· 
Setup a zero-tolerance culture on Ethics & Compliance matters in the team

· 
Ensure BCs training and certification according to plan

Future developments:

· 
Study new technologies around composite manufacturing processes and methods to improve operational performance and sustainability

· 
Introduce digitalization to improve operational efficiency and agility

· 
Provide industrial solutions for potential new work packages

· 
Secure SA and A350 program ramp-up preparation
