GSS System Engineer for Eurofighter LTE

In Airbus Defence and Space, we are looking for a System Engineer for the department in charge of Ground Support Systems and Electronic Warfare solutions for combat aircraft.

Our product portfolio enables the whole Mission Management cycle from preparation/planning to debriefing/assessment phases. Our vision is to create and operate for military forces, government organizations and nations real-time, collaborative multi-platform mission services.

The successful applicant will lead our activities for Eurofighter Long Term Evolution (LTE), getting involved as system engineer in the development of the Ground Support System projects of the department and representing us in the international LTE forum.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

- Focal point from our department in EF LTE forum

- Requirements analysis and definition.

- Collaboration in HW/SW platform definition.

- Collaboration in System integration and qualification.

- Interface with airborne equipment representatives and joint teams.

- Involvement in tool definition and evaluation.

- Continuous improvement and evolution.

- Interface with other areas such as Chief Engineering Office, Programme Management Office, Procurement, ILS…

- Collaboration in international environment.

Required skills:

- Completed studies in aeronautics/telecommunications/computer science

- Good communication skills as well as high team ability.

- Availability for travelling

- Knowledge in mission planning, ground support tools and maintenance processes would be a plus.

- Experience in Eurofighter programme is desirable but not essential.
