Airbus International Services DAC (AIS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Airbus Helicopters, dedicated to the management of external technical assistance. Our entity provides worldwide field technical support and aircrew assistance to Airbus customers. Our employees are based in jurisdictions across the world, with the management team based in Dublin, Ireland. AIS supports around 100 global mobile employees for short and long term missions.
Place of work:
IFSC, Dublin and work from home. There is a hybrid working model in place in line with Company rules.

AIS is currently recruiting for a Global Payroll Manager to support the daily management of approximately 100 employees deployed globally and the implementation of payrolls across multiple jurisdictions. The business scope will also include another Airbus entity located in Dublin.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has extensive payroll knowledge across multiple regions but also has the attitude and experience to be hands-on and still be involved in day to day payroll processing when required.
This opportunity will give exposure to all aspects of the monthly payroll cycle with emphasis on global mobility, and will suit somebody who is experienced in international personal income tax and social security. Reporting to the Head of HR, the Global Payroll Manager will have the following role and responsibilities.
Role & Responsibilities
International Payroll management:

The Global Payroll Manager will actively support the business strategy in line with international payroll investigation and implementation
·
He/She will provide an analysis summary and forecasts to Management on a regular basis; he/ she will advise on country set-up options when relevant
·
He/She will be in charge of all necessary analysis to ensure a good understanding of legal requirements and related processes before any deployment of employees in a country.
·
He/She will lead and manage country set-ups in a project management mode (on time, quality and on cost).
·
He/She will liaise with various stakeholders (payroll suppliers, tax experts, authorities, Airbus network, etc) and will ensure full alignment and efficient collaboration with each of them.

He/She will support the HR team to answer employee queries.
·
Be up to date on all statutory changes and proactive in advising on the best practices
·
He/She will monitor proper alignment with policies and will control the right performance related to this activity; he/she will initiate corrective actions for continuous improvement.

He/ She will ensure that knowledge and data are well structured.
·
He/She will participate in some company policy updates.
·
Act as a direct point of contact for all payroll-related queries from our employees, contractors as well as other internal departments eg HR.

He/She will execute payroll operations as and when required
Payroll operations:
·
The Global Payroll Manager will prepare and process monthly payrolls and any changes (including starters, leavers, benefit changes, transfers etc.) for a specific scope of the organisation

He/She will review and approve the monthly payroll reports
·
He/She will provide accurate monthly payroll journals including relevant and appropriate reports to the Finance Team as and when required
·
He/She will assist with audit requirements and queries as requested
·
He/She will be responsible for collating and processing benefit payments and reporting (pensions, annual tax, social security)
·
He/She will ensure continuous development and improvement of monthly reporting
Coordination:
·
He/She will ensure the overall efficiency of the payroll processes, ensuring the right timing, quality and cost
·
He/She will drive process improvements, developing and implementing payroll policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy, compliance, and data security.

He/She will liaise with our current global payroll software provider to maintain/develop efficient processes to support our ongoing business requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
·
Working knowledge of international payroll taxes.
·
IPASS Management Diploma required or equivalent
·
Tax qualification desirable but not essential
·
Third level qualification desirable
·
Experience in international payroll processing (minimum 5 years)
·
In-depth knowledge of global payroll regulations and compliance requirements for various jurisdictions, including tax and social insurance.

Project management and coordination of multiple internal departments and third party providers
·
High level of confidentiality and discretion required
·
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies
·
Ability to multitask and prioritise their workload
·
Excellent leadership & communication skills & ability to work on their own initiative
·
Solution oriented and proven experience in problem solving
·
Ability to meet deadlines and take ownership of the role
·
Ability to initiate process improvement
·
Strong IT skills and G-Suite proficiency (mandatory)
·
English language (mandatory); French(advantage)
·
Right to live and work in Ireland
